PUBLIC SPEAKING

During the past twenty-five years, Ms. Matheu has had the privilege of speaking before many civic, social, educational, and religious groups in and around the Humble/Kingwood and Coldspring areas. Among the groups to whom she has made a presentation are: Humble Intercontinental Rotary Club; Humble Kiwanis Club; Northeast Harris County Bar Association; Humble Area Chamber of Commerce; First Presbyterian Church of Kingwood; American Business Women’s Association; Senior Citizens Center of Humble and Coldspring, Texas; Professional Connection; Columbia Kingwood Hospital; and, Northeast Medical Center Hospital. Ms. Matheu has also served for several years as a guest lecturer before classes of Family and Consumer Science high school students at Humble High School. Since opening her office in Coldspring, Texas, Ms. Matheu has hosted free workshops for the public at the Coldspring Area Public Library, in the areas of estate planning and family law.

Ms. Matheu is typically requested to provide her audiences with information concerning wills, probate, and family law matters. She supplements her talks, not only with a sense of humor, but also with informative written materials. Ms. Matheu has a genuine love of her subject matter and places a high priority on educating the public with helpful information on important topics to which they might otherwise not be exposed.

It is the highest compliment to be requested to speak to various groups, and Ms. Matheu is therefore always willing to accommodate such requests.
